I'm a full-time freelance illustrator based in Toronto, Canada. I originally began my career in graphic design, working primarily in information design, but feeling extremely unfulfilled creatively, I discovered illustration. Thereafter, I enrolled in a variety of continuing education illustration course as a means to transition. My process of creating images combines different forms of media such as watercolour, pen and ink, and digital. My work experience includes editorial, fashion, and surface pattern design/illustration. I aim to further develop my illustration skills in the Fall of 2018 as an MFA candidate for the School of Visual Art's Illustration Program in New York.
In addition to freelancing, I have an illustrated product line of stationary and home goods, La Jolee Design, featuring fun-loving and sometimes saucy animals.
I'd love to work with you! Feel free to get in touch.
